I’ve seen various prescription nasal allergy sprays over the years, such as Flonase, Aquacort, Nasonex, Nasocort, etc. My young daughter was prescribed Nasonex. I had Nasocort at home and asked the doctor if she could use that instead, but he said no, definitely only use Nasonex (which she is). Do all the sprays do the same thing? What’s the difference in the relief they give? Thanks!

Also, how long does it take for a gluten allergy/sensitivity into Celiac disease?

Zyrtec works great for my allergies but it makes me drowsy and even after taking it for almost two weeks i still get drowsy from it, and Zyrtec works the best for me when i take it in the morning. Is there any allergy medication similar to Zyrtec that does not cause drowsiness?

I know Ragweed is pollenating badly right now.
I am allergic to ragweed pollen.
I’ve literally locked myself into my airtight, air conditioned home for four days waiting for my eyes to stop swelling, itching, watering, and waiting for my hay fever to at least subside.

Shouldn’t the allergy “attack” have abated by now since I’ve no longer been exposed to it? Jeeze…
So how long does an allergy attack of this variety tend to last? I need to have semi-permanent eyelashes applied to my eyes in two days!!!

I have a daughter who has very severe headaches. They might even be migraines. Her doctor says it is probably caused by allergy’s. What is the best allergy medication if your only symptom is a headache.
NOTE: Pain relievers alone DO NOT work.
