This type of diet will result in losing lean body mass and a rebound effect of gaining fat after ceasing the diet. Needless to say no one should try this diet in an attempt to lose weight.

Ear Stapling

This fad has arisen from theory by acupuncturists that there is an area of the ear which can have an effect on your appetite. Stapling in this area is supposed to cause a constant pressure on area supposedly responsible for making you hungry and cause you to eat less. Of course there is no evidence for this at all and it can be dangerous as stapling the ear can lead to serious infections. Please do not try this way to lose weight!

Fat Free Diet

This theory says that if you eat no fat you won’t get fat! Of course too much fat in your diet is very bad for you but just eating so-called fat-free food is just as bad for you as most of those labelled in this way are full of sugar in calories but do not contained minerals, vitamins or fiber are which are necessary for a healthy diet. It is also necessary to eat a small amount of fat to be healthy.

All Protein Beef and Bacon Diet

This theory says that you can eat protein exclusively and lose weight. Although it is a good idea to cut down on carbohydrates, particularly empty ones my white rice and white flour diet that contains only protein from beef and bacon is also likely to contain high amounts of fat.
